Born on November 14, 1934 in Lons-le-Saunier (France).

Lives and works in Nantes (France)



His family settles down in Toulouse on 1939, city where will take place his childhood and adolescence. Scientific and technical secondary education. First attempts of painting with, in particular, the advices of a Spanish artist refuged in France.

Arrived in 1953 in Paris, he pursues technical studies to the School of Telecommunications, then Law and Economics in Sorbonne. Discovery the contemporary art in the parisian « Salons », in particular, that of the Réalités Nouvelles. Frequent visits to the Museum of the Louvre, the National Museum of Modern Art and the galleries of the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district. Practises the jazz and classic guitar during several years. Follows occasionally model living courses at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière.

Economist, organizer and financial officer of multinational companies, he leads at the same time a personnal plastic work which, since the beginning of the seventies, joins determinedly the constructivist movement. Private journeys and those caused by the exercise of his profession led him to travel abroad giving him the occasion to visit a large number of museums.

He has animated with his wife, from 1975 to 2000, la Galerie Convergence of Nantes, gallery having presented a wide range of significant artists of most of the artistic movements appeared after the Second world war.
